Who we are

sennmantics consists of a pool of multilingual information, retrieval and taxonomy experts all over the world. Depending on the project different specialists with the relevant language and technical skills will be invited to bring in their expertise.

Dr. Cathrin Senn, founder of sennmantics and senior consultant

Dr. Cathrin SennCathrin started working in information management over ten years ago. In her role as a knowledge management consultant at Swiss Re she was responsible for the taxonomy strategy and roadmap in a global information retrieval project. As a taxonomy consultant in the client solutions team at Reuters and Dow Jones she worked on controlled vocabulary and retrieval projects in a wide range of industries all over Europe. Cathrin is based in Thalwil near Zurich, Switzerland, and a co-founder of Oneconsult.

Sylvie Dalbin, senior consultant

Sylvie DalbinSylvie launched her career in information management in the energy industry, where she worked as a thesaurus editor and content database designer. Since 1990 she has been a consultant, specializing in automatic indexing and search as well as knowledge organization and digital workplaces. Sylvie is involved in international standards for controlled vocabularies and is based in Paris, France.
